Not So Wordless Wednesday

This is an old picture taken outside my home in Alabama. I really miss those foggy Tennessee Valley mornings.

Wordless Wednesday-Not The One That Stung Me

I thought it would be slightly funny (or masochistic) to post a picture of a sting ray from the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach.

Wordless Wednesday-Sarah in Repose

I call this "Sarah in Repose" apparently a lap top and a notebook make a comfortable pillow. The weird thing is she chose to sleep on this couch, when the other BIGGER couch had nothing at all on it.

Wordless Wednesday-London Morning

I just wanted to say a few words about this picture. I took it from the London Eye in December 2004. It started snowing almost the moment I snapped the picture, it was a wondorous morning. I did not edit it at all, and I love how it came out looking like a painting.

Not So Wordless Wednesday-Poor Sarah

A few weekends ago our friend Luther (who literally came by plane, train, and bus to get to our wedding, and also had to ride alone with Adam in the just married car with everyone honking for them LOL) stopped by with his little nephew Braylin. At first Braylin was terrified of our dog Sarah, and who could blame him? She is HUGE especially from the point of view of a toddler. He warmed up to her though, and soon was treating her like they were both in bumper cars. Braylin would take running dives into her (Yes we stopped it the best we could). Sarah, God bless her little heart, just kept looking at us like,” won’t you save me?" That is the expression you can sorta see on her face in this pic.

.Quotes

365 days ago (give or take):

I will also be dancing around the guys like a gerbil on a sugar high screeching things like, "Don't Hit the Walls!" "You're Going to Trip!" "That’s not where it goes!" "Don't drop it." "I think it needs to be move two centimeters to the right." "No, no let's try it the other way again!" And by the end of the day both of them will start to think that 25 years to life spent in prison might not be so bad if it would get them just one moment of peace and quiet.

Like the Jeffersons I moved on up.

Wordless Wednesday-Tide Pool

Tide Pool-Long Beach Aquarium

Adam and I went to a free preview of Shark Summer the other night at the Long Beach Aquarium. They had free wine, beer, and food. I thought it would be slightly funny if they had served sea food. But no one found that joke near as funny as I did. But I didn't care because I crack myself up. They served not sea food but still very good food which my husband would not even try because he has the palette of a three-year old. I have to google "recipes kids will love" just to cook for him. LOL We got to tour the place privately, and it was a really wonderful evening. And did I mention free booze?

Wordless Wednesday-Prison Break

This was taken outside of Adam's office. Prison break often uses his workplace to film scenes. Pretty darn cool I say.

Wordless Wednesday-Squawk!

This is what happens when my mom is left alone with my camera, while I am scouting for souvenirs (taken in Galilee, Israel). This picture reminds me of when I took JROTC in high school. Every morning I was part of the group that had to raise the flags. (I usually wore annoyingly loud flip flops, which would make a flopping noise right after I had landed in step, and it would throw the whole crew off. Those were good times).

On our way to raise the flags, a truck full of chickens would always drive past the school. I'm sure the chickens were all just going to the spa to get chicken pedicures. And I refuse to believe any differently.
